Southern Select Alpaca Show

March ?, 2009

STALLING INFORMATION:

Stalls are 10 X 10 "horse" stalls with wood on the bottom half and bars on the top. When doing your pen assignments, please take into consideration that animals may not be able to see other animals. You may wish to bring corral panels to place in front of your stalls so as to leave the stall doors open for easier viewing or better socializing of the animals. Only three animals per stall.
  • Companion animals will be allowed if they are ARI registered, meet all health requirements, and are BVD negative for PCR or VI.
  • We are again providing bedding (see the registration form).
  • Displays will be allowed in the aisles; however, be sure to leave enough room for animals and people to comfortably maneuver through. An extra stall for farm displays may be purchased if you so desire.
  • Sponsors and working volunteers will receive priority stalling. Other stalling will be determined by postmark of entry.
  • Security arrangements for your alpacas to stay over on Sunday night will be provided. Please remove animals by 9 AM Monday. Please indicate on the registration form your intent to stay on Sunday night.
  • Questions about stalling should be directed to David Carrell, Barn Manager, at david@carrellfarms.com.

WISCONSIN SPRING BLING ALPACA SHOW

(FKA: Spring Fling Alpaca Show)

Neenah, WI

March ?, 2009

 BEDDING / FLOORING:

The flooring of the Tri-County Ice Arena is slick. We found last year that the best bedding was one of the following:  Poly-vinyl mats with cardboard underneath or on top for absorbency or indoor/outdoor carpet, with or without cardboard strips.  We will have runners along the main aisle ways, in the staging area and at the entrance/exit of the show ring to minimize slipping as well. Extra cardboard strips will be available to purchase.
